Savalis Charles enters his fourth season at C.W. Post as the assistant offensive coach and will work with the tight ends.
Prior to coming to Brookville, Charles coached at Lawrence High School before serving as an assistant head coach at Westbury High, where he worked as a position coach and special teams coordinator and worked with the running backs and line backers.
Charles played for C.W. Post from 1999 to 2000 and was one of the blocking backs for All-America tail back Ian Smart.He graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
Charles currently teaches physical education at Westbury Middle School and is also the assistant wrestling coach at Westbury High.
