Wade “Rocky” Davey won the most wrestling championships in a C.W. Post career and remains the only four-time champion in the history of the C.W. Post Wrestling Tournament.

Named an All-America performer in 1974, Davey was also a three-time champion at the Colgate Tournament and two-time champion at both the Springfield and Coast Guard tournaments. 

Following his graduation from C.W. Post, Davey went on to coaching and in 1978 led Suffolk County Community College to a Regional championship. As head coach at Shoreham-Wading River and Riverhead High Schools, Davey’s squads have combined for 200 wins, 12 league championships, and one county championship. Davey and his wife,

Gisella, reside in Wading River, N.Y.
