Al Venturino was a father figure to C.W. Post athletes for three decades - a behind-the-scenes most valuable player and an essential member of the Athletic Department.
He looked after the athletes and the programs in the finest tradition of sportsmanship and excellence.
Mr. Venturino lives in Glen Cove with his wife, Rose. They have four grown children, all of whom attended C.W. Post, and 10 grandchildren.
