David Kelly was a four-time All-American lacrosse player at C.W. Post from 1997-2000.

Kelly was named the Division II Player of the Year both his junior and senior year.

Kelly was a defender who’s accolades during his career were numerous. In 1997, he received NYCAC Rookie of the Year honors, and was also a four-time NYCAC First Team honoree, and his junior and senior season, he was named the NYCAC Player of the Year.

He was the driving force behind the Pioneer defense that finished as one of the best defenses in the nation in 1998, and was a major part of the ’98, ’99, and ’00 teams that reached the Division II Championship games.
