Steve Fontana was a four-time NCAA Division II All-American Wrestler for C.W. Post from 1979-81.

During his senior season, Fontana won eight consecutive tournament championships, and capped his standout career with a 3rd place finish in the 1981 Nationals, along with a qualification for Division I Nationals.

The three-time C.W. Post Christmas tournament champion and one-time runner up posted a 158-20-1 record during his time in a Pioneer uniform.

After graduation, Fontana helped the New York Athletic Club to a 1982 Canadian Championship.

He lives in Farmingville, N.Y., with his wife Christine, and their children, Travis, Zachary and Gabriella.
