Taryn Brody is without a doubt one of the most complete athletes to ever compete for the Pioneers - a three-sport starter for the women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse team.

As a lacrosse player, she helped the Pioneers to the pinnacle of success, as C.W. Post, in just its second year of competition, won the first-ever NCAA Division II National Championship in 2001. Brody was a 2003 All-American selection in women’s lacrosse, also earning Academic All-America honors as well that same year. She was twice selected to the NCAA Division II Lacrosse All-Star game, earning STX Most Valuable Athlete honors at the 2003 game, along with two First Team All-NYCAC honors in women’s soccer.

Following her standout senior year, Brody was recognized with the Dean Roy Illowit Award in 2003, given to a dedicated athlete who maintains a high academic average, and contributes to the athletic department through sportsmanship and fair play.
