Maehlmann Named ECC Rookie Of The Week

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 14, 2008) – Freshman outside hitter
Laura Maehlmann (Gundelfingen, Germany) was named this week's East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
In a 2-0 week, Maehlmann led the Pioneers with 21 kills, averaging 3.0 per set. She also recorded 11 digs, one block solo and two service aces.
C.W. Post (8-10, 5-5 ECC) will host the University of Bridgeport on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.
