Sammy Figliolia (Wantagh, N.Y.) led the Pioneers with 11 kills but it was not enough as Queens College claimed a 3-0 win over C.W. Post Tuesday evening at the Pratt Recreation Center.
With the win, Queens improves to 15-5 overall and 6-2 in the conference while C.W. Post slips to 6-10 overall and 3-5 in the ECC.
Graduate middle blocker Enobong Shammah led the match with 13 kills while teammate Antonia Klein tallied 24 assists for the Knights.
Senior
Lucia Krskova (Prievidza, Slovakia) led the Pioneers with 10 kills and 11 assists and added seven digs. Sophomore setter
Amanda Ostapow (East Setauket, N.Y.) fueled the Pioneers' offense with 20 assists.
The Pioneers outhit the Knights by a 106-94 margin in the three-set match.
C.W. Post will host Mercy College on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
