Men's Basketball Climbs To Sixth In This Week's NABC Poll
KANSAS CITY (Dec. 23, 2008) – The C.W. Post men's basketball team climbed one spot to sixth in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches poll.
Findlay (Ohio) (8-0) and South Carolina-Aiken (6-0), remained first and second for the third straight week, with Findlay receiving all eight first place votes, respectively.
The Pioneers (5-0, 3-0 ECC) defeated Holy Family University, 97-59, Monday evening and will host the C.W. Post Holiday Tournament beginning Dec. 29 against the College of Saint Rose at 5 p.m.
C.W. Post is the only Northeast team ranked in the poll. Northeast-10 members Saint Anselm College and Merrimack College each received votes.
