– Junior attacker Jaclyn Napoli (West Islip, N.Y.) recorded her 100th career goal as top-ranked C.W. Post defeated Saint Anselm College, 21-4, in a non-conference women's lacrosse match Sunday afternoon on Hickox Field.

C.W. Post stays perfect at 11-0 and has now won 44 of its last 45 home games. Saint Anselm falls to 4-7 on the season.

Napoli scored the first three goals for the Pioneers and assisted on another to finish with four points. Junior attacker Katie Hogan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led the game with four goals and four assists while senior attacker Jenna Miller (Silver Spring, Md.) added three tallies and four assists for C.W. Post.

C.W. Post jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Hawks got on the board with a goal from senior midfielder Tiea Kurlowecz on a free position shot at 24:01. From there, the Pioneers knocked off 15 straight goals, leading into the second half with a 17-1 advantage.

Kurlowecz scored her second goal at 24:30 with an assist from junior attacker Michaela Rocha. Junior attacker Jennifer Carew scored the third goal for Saint Anselm with 9:00 remaining on a free position shot while sophomore midfielder Erica Costanzo followed up with another Saint Anselm goal at 5:46.

C.W. Post finished the game outshooting Saint Anselm, 31-12, and held a 17-11 ground ball advantage. 

Senior Lauren Scipione (East Meadow, N.Y.) made four stops in net to preserve her 50th career win. Saint Anselm goalkeeper Katherine O'Hara made five saves for the Hawks.

The Pioneers were 3-for-4 in free position shots as Miller, senior midfielder Mallory Poole (Corning, N.Y.) and freshman attacker Taryn Crimi (West Islip, N.Y.) all scored on 8-meter shots.

C.W. Post will play its next three games on the road, beginning at Dowling College on Apr. 16 at 4 p.m.
