BROOKVILLE, N.Y.  (Apr. 29, 2008) – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released this week's poll and has voted C.W. Post as the top team in Division II women's lacrosse.

C.W. Post (15-0, 4-0 ECC), who was also selected first in this week's InsideLacrosse poll, received eight of 10 first place votes and remains the top team for the 11th straight week this season. Overall, the Pioneers been ranked first for the 20th straight week, dating back to March 13, 2007.

Limestone College followed, receiving two first place votes, followed by ECC opponent Adelphi University, West Chester University, Stonehill College, Gannon College, Lock Haven University and Mercyhurst College. The University of New Haven and Philadelphia University rounded out the poll.

The Pioneers secured a berth in the upcoming NCAA Championship Tournament, to be hosted May 16-17 in Houston, Texas.
