No. 1 Women's Lacrosse To Play In Record Seventh NCAA Division II Championships
INDIANAPOLIS (May 4, 2008) – The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced the four-team field for its 2008 Division II Women's Lacrosse Championships Sunday, and C.W. Post was one of four teams selected to participate, May 17-18 in Houston.
The Pioneers (16-1, 5-1 ECC) will play conference opponent Adelphi University on May 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park in Houston, Texas. The winner will advance to play the winner of the Limestone College/West Chester University matchup on May 17.
C.W. Post clinched its second national title in the program's eight year history in 2007 and has a 4-4 overall record in the postseason.
