US Lacrosse: Hogan Brings Back That Lovin' Feeling

Katie Hogan has rediscovered her love for lacrosse, and the sport is better for it.
Like most talented Long Island players, Hogan bought into the promise of happiness at the Division I level. Coach Denise Wescott recruited Hogan to play for the University of Delaware and then left the program. Hogan had a successful rookie season with new coach Kim Ciarrocca and the Blue Hens and was honored on the Colonial Athletic Association all-rookie team, but she never quite felt comfortable in Newark.
