Help Support Toys for Tots at Tomorrow's Basketball Doubleheader at NYIT
OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (Dec. 11, 2009) - On Saturday, December 12, the NYIT Student Athlete Advisory Committee will be collectiong toys for the Toys for Tots organization sponsored by the Marine Corps Reserve. In lieu of admission, fans can bring a new, unwrapped toy for entrance into the men's and women's basketball games vs. C.W. Post.
The women's game will start at 2 p.m. and the men's game will begin at 4:15 p.m.
The Marine Corps Reserve has been actively involved in the distribution of toys for need children each holiday season since 1948.
