Men's Basketball Stays Second In This Week's NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY (Feb. 10, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's basketball team remained second in the NABC Division II Poll for the fourth week in a row. The Pioneers and first-place ranked University of Findlay are still the only two unbeaten teams in Division II.

Findlay (20-0) received eight first-place votes as it remained in first place for the 11th straight week.

The Pioneers (18-0, 12-0 ECC) posted another 2-0 record last week, taking down East Coast Conference opponents St. Thomas Aquinas (96-66) and Mercy College (87-41).

C.W. Post is the highest Northeast team to be ranked, joined by Bentley College who climbed to 19th in the poll. Stonehill College received two votes in the poll.

The Pioneers are back in action Wednesday, as they travel to Concordia College for an East Coast Conference matchup at 7 p.m. C.W. Post is set to host the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. tip off.
