Men's Basketball Second In This Week's NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY (Feb. 17, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's basketball team stayed at No. 2 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches weekly poll, it was announced this week.
 
Findlay University received eight first-place votes and remains the top team with a 22-0 record. The Pioneers, who are first in the Northeast region, have been second the last five weeks in the poll and received 192 points behind Findlay's 200.
 
Northeast-10 member Bentley University climbed three spots to No. 16 in the poll while University of Massachusetts at Lowell received votes.
 
C.W. Post (20-0) was 2-0 last week with a 91-69 win at Concordia College and a 107-71 win at home against the University of Bridgeport. In addition, the Pioneers set a new win streak previously set during the 1972-73 season.
 
The Pioneers play at New York Institute of Technology on Feb. 18 and will host Molloy College Feb. 21.
