Men's Basketball Remains Second In This Week's NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY (Feb. 24, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's basketball team stayed at No. 2 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches weekly poll, it was announced this week.
 
Findlay University received eight first-place votes and remains the top team with a 24-0 record. The Pioneers, who are first in the Northeast region, have been second the last six weeks in the poll and received 192 points behind Findlay's 200.
 
Northeast-10 member Bentley University climbed another three spots to No. 13 in the poll while University of Massachusetts at Lowell received votes.
 
C.W. Post (22-0) was 2-0 last week with a 102-81 win over NYIT and a 95-56 win at home against Molloy. Senior guard Jonathan Schmidt pulled within 17 points of the career points scored record of 1,835, set by Garee Bryant in 1999.
