Swimming Competes At Day 1 Of NCAA Championships

HOUSTON (March 11, 2009) – Following Opening Ceremonies Tuesday evening, the C.W. Post swimming team competed at the first day of competition of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Houston, Texas.

In the 200 medley relay, senior Mariel Andersson (Brastad, Sweden), junior Brittany Roman-Green (Woodstock, N.Y.), junior Dora Biocic (Zagreb, Croatia) and sophomore Riley Cassidy (Cambridge, Ontario) earned points in the 200 medley relay, swimming to the wall at one minute, 46.29 seconds.

C.W. Post will continue competing to accrue points at the championship meet, which runs through Saturday.
