Women's Lacrosse Third In IWLCA Poll
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 11, 2009) – The C.W. Post women's lacrosse team stayed third in this week's IWLCA poll, as announced by the organization.
West Chester University continues to stay atop the poll, receiving five first-place votes. Adelphi University was second with four first-place votes.
Limestone College jumped one spot from the previous week to fourth, followed by Lock Haven University, who fell one spot from last week. Stonehill, Mercyhurst and New Haven, who have yet to start their season, placed six through in the poll, respectively. Rounding out the poll was Gannon College and Rollins.
C.W. Post captured a 17-6 win at Georgian Court on Wednesday and will play at Southern New Hampshire on Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m.
