Cheerleading To Hold Tryouts April 17-19
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 22, 2009) – C.W. Post head cheerleading coach Melissa Torres has announced tryouts for the 2009-10 academic year. Those interested can report to the Pratt Recreation Center April 17, 18 and 19.
The team performs regularly at all football and men's basketball games during the year. The squad attends NCA summer camp Aug. 3-7th in Boston, Mass. as well as NCA Cheerleading Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Requirements include:
Standing Backhandspring
Roundoff Backhandspring
Heel Stretch Single Twist (must be able to base back or fly)
Arabesque Single Twist (must be able to base back or fly)
*Optional Stunt (full up, double down, ect.)
Tryout Schedule:
Friday April 17th 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Saturday April 18th 10:00 - 1:00 pm
Sunday April 19th 10:00 - 12:00 pm
