Hogan Earns ECC Player Of The Week Nods
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (April 20, 2009)- The East Coast Conference released its weekly report, honoring senior midfielder
Katie Hogan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) as conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Hogan helped second-ranked C.W. Post to a 3-0 week as she netted 11 goals and added an assist. She scored two goals against Dowling College in a 14-8 win, also adding four caused turnovers, three draw controls and five ground balls. She followed with a hat-trick against St. Michaels and capped the week with a career-high six goals performance against No. 5 Lock Haven to help the Pioneers to an 18-13 victory.
The Pioneers current boast and eleven game win-streak, improving their overall record to 12-1-0.
C.W. Post is back in action Wednesday, April 22 as they travel to Molloy College for an East Coast Conference match-up at 6 p.m.
