Swimming Closes Out Final Day Of ECAC Championships

PITTSBURGH (Feb. 28, 2010) – The C.W. Post swimming team closed out competed in three events the final day at the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships held at the University of Pittsburgh.

Overall, the Pioneers finished 21st out of 24 teams largely represented by Division I programs.
 
Senior Morgan Feliccia (Arnold, Md.) swam the 200-yard backstroke with a final time of 2 minutes, 17.60 seconds. 
 
Meanwhile, freshman Kristina Fritsch (Brooklyn, N.Y.) competed in the 100 free and clocked in at 54.10 seconds. Freshman Carly Marshall (Cornwall, N.Y.) completed the 200 fly with a final time of 2:14.54. Junior Sofi Mathsson (Stockholm, Sweden) also swam in the event and finished at 2:21.54. 
 
C.W. Post returns to action when it competes in the NCAA Championships in Canton, Ohio hosted by Lock Haven University March 10-13.
