Hall Selected as ECC Player of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Feb. 8, 2010) – Junior forward Aaron Hall (Syracuse, N.Y.) was named this week's East Coast Conference Player of the Week. Hall shares the honor with Bridgeport's Steve Martin.
Hall averaged 28.5 points per game during a 1-1 week for the Pioneer. The junior exploded for a career-high 35 points and eight rebounds in a home court victory over Queens College, shooting a blistering 71% from the floor (15-21). Hall continued his stellar play against Bridgeport as he scored 22 points – 18 in the second half – in the matchup for first place in the ECC, shooting 10-16 from the floor. For the week, he was 7-9 from the charity stripe and averaged 6.0 boards per game.
C.W. Post (16-5, 12-3 ECC) returns to action to host Mercy College on Wednesday before closing out the week at home against Dowling College.
