Cassidy, Roman-Green, Hanes Earn All-America Honorable Mention At NCAA Championships

CANTON, Ohio (March 11, 2010) – Junior Riley Cassidy (Cambridge, Ontario) was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American in two events during Thursday's portion of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Lock Haven University at the C.T. Branin Natatorium.
Cassidy finished 13th overall out of 41 swimmers in the 100-yard butterfly with a final time of 57.04 seconds.
Cassidy teamed up with senior Brittany Roman-Green (Woodstock, N.Y.) and freshmen Cornelia Hanes (Stockholm, Sweden) and Sandra Kirstein (Hollviken, Sweden) in the 200 free relay to finish 16th overall out of 29 teams with a final time of 1:36.97.
Roman-Green, Cassidy, Hanes and senior Josephine Tjernstrom (Bromma, Sweden) placed 23rd in the 400 medley relay, clocking in at 3:38.49.
