Kohler Selected as ECAC Rookie of the Year; Hall and Jokic Named First Team
CAPE COD, Mass. (March 18, 2010) - The ECAC has announced its 2009-10 Division II Men's Basketball post-season honors, and C.W. Post freshman Jonathan Kohler (Bordentown, N.J.) was named 2009-10 ECAC Division II Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year, while teammates Nemanja Jokic (Sombor, Serbia) and Aaron Hall (Syracuse, N.Y.) were named to the ECAC First Team.
Kohler earned Rookie of the Year honors with per-game averages of 14.7 points and 3.6 rebounds. The Pioneers forward was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Year for his efforts.
Hall earns accolades after helping the Pioneers to a fourth straight appearance in the ECC Championship title game, averaging 16.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game. Jokic, also an ECC First Team honoree along with Hall, finished the season averaging 15.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
