Bonin batted .467 on the week, helping the Pioneers to a 4-1 record against Dowling College. He went 7-for-15 with five walks, three runs scored, and three RBI. He drove in two game-tying RBI in Saturday's doubleheader against Dowling, tying the score 2-2 in the seventh in game one, then singling in the tying run to make it 6-6 in game two – in both games, the Pioneers won the game in the seventh inning. In addition, Bonin reached base at a .619 clip, and was successful on his only steal attempt of the week.

Budkevics picked up a win on Saturday against Dowling, improving to 3-0 on the season by throwing a complete game no-no against the Golden Lions, giving up no hits and no earned runs in a seven-inning effort. Budkevics struck out eight batters and walked only three.
