CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Mar. 29, 2010)- The East Coast Conference released its weekly report, naming junior Sam Powers (Holbrook, N.Y.) Goalkeeper of the Week. The honors come after Powers helped the Pioneers to a 2-0 weekend with a 22-7 win over Belmont Abbey College Saturday afternoon and a 19-4 victory over Pfeiffer University on Sunday.

Powers recorded a .566 goals against average with a combined 11 saves in two games. She made eight stops against Belmont Abbey and three more against Pfeiffer while allowing only 8 goals in the two games.

C.W. Post is set to take the field again Wednesday, March 31,as they travel to the University of New Haven for a 3:30 p.m. matchup.
