Women's Lacrosse Moves To Second Place In IWLCA Poll
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 13, 2010)- The C.W. Post women's lacrosse team moved back up to second place in the latest IWLCA poll released Monday afternoon. The move comes after the Pioneers posted a 2-0 week, with conference wins over Molloy College and Seton Hill.
The Pioneers currently hold a 9-0 overall record, 2-0 in the East Coast Conference.
Adelphi University remained in the top spot again this week, earning all 10 first place votes. The move for the Pioneers dropped Lock Haven University to third place, while Limestone College and Mercyhurst College maintained the fourth and fifth place spots. West Chester University moved into sixth place, followed by Stonehill College (7) and Gannon University (8). Merrimack College and Dowling College tied for ninth place to round out the top ten.
C.W. Post is back in action Wednesday, April 14, as the Pioneers travel to Queens College (N.Y.) for an ECC matchup at 3:30 pm.
