Brianne Jackolski (Shirley, N.Y.) scored five goals, and senior attacker
Caitlin Heraghty (Levittown, N.Y.) added five assists, as the No. 3 C.W. Post women's lacrosse eased past St. Thomas Aquinas, 23-5, on Sunday afternoon in East Coast Conference women's lacrosse action.
C.W. Post improves to 14-1, 6-0 ECC while STAC slips to 0-10, 0-4 ECC.
Adding to the multi-goal effort for the Pioneers were senior attacker
Staci Passafiume (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) with three goals and two assists, and sophomore
Lauren Spagnoletta (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman
Abigail Ross (Miller Place, N.Y.) each added three goals. Sophomore
Ashley Olen (East Islip, N.Y.) and
Taryn Crimi (West Islip, N.Y.) scored two goals apiece.
The Pioneers outshot STAC 28-13, and goalkeeper
Sam Powers (Holbrook, N.Y.) made two saves in the cage to earn the victory.
The Pioneers are off until May 1, when they take on Adelphi in Garden City at 4 p.m.
