ECC Tabs Passafiume As Player of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (April 27, 2010) – Senior Staci Passafiume (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) earned this week's East Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Passafiume led the Pioneers to a 3-0 week last week notching a total of 21 points in three games. On Wednesday, She registered a career high eight assists and scored one goal to propel C.W. Post past Mercy College, 23-4. Passafiume's powerful performance continued on Saturday as she pumped in two goals while assisting on five others and picked up four ground balls to help the Pioneers to a 23-11 victory over No. 7 Stonehill College. She then closed out the week by notching three goals and two assists during the Pioneers' 23-5 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas.
C.W. Post (14-1, 6-0 ECC) is back in action on May 1, traveling to Adelphi for a 4 p.m. contest.
