Williams Named CoSIDA Academic All-District
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (May 24, 2010) - Senior defender
Kim Williams (Long Valley, N.J.) was named to the CoSida/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Women's At-Large Second Teams, it was announced today.
Williams, a two-time All-American and three-time IWLCA All-North Region selection, capped off an outstanding career as she appeared in four NCAA Championship tournaments, helping the Pioneers to a 2007 National Title. An elementary education major, Williams has a 3.81 cumulative GPA, in addition to her stellar exploits on the lacrosse field, which includes 25 goals and 49 caused turnovers this season.
The At-Large ballot consists of both Division II and III institutions and includes women's lacrosse, bowling, field hockey, crew, gymnastics, ice hockey, water polo, fencing, rifle, golf, skiing, swimming and tennis.
