Sileo Tabbed as ECC Rookie of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (March 14, 2011) – Freshman attacker Jackie Sileo's (Wantagh, N.Y.) performance through her first two collegiate games earned her East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office.
Sileo made an immediate impact in her first two games, helping the thirdranked Pioneers to a 2-0 record with seven goals and eight assists. She scored three goals to go with four assists in her first collegiate game against Georgian Court and followed with a four-goal, four-assist performance against Southern New Hampshire University.
C.W. Post (2-0) is tied for third in this week's IWLCA coaches poll and will take on Lock Haven - also tied for third - on Sunday, March 20
