Coach Travers Adds Five Freshmen to the 2011-12 Swimming Roster

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 26, 2011) – Coach Maureen Travers is poised to add five incoming freshmen to the 2011-12 swimming roster. The five ladies come from as close as Lake Ronkonkoma to as far as Sweden. 
Courtney Delehanty (Oceanport, N.J.) comes in from Shore Regional High School. Her best times comprise of a 50 Free time of 24.64, 53.54 in the 100 Free, 1:58.12 in the 200 Free, 100 Breaststroke time of 1:09.25, and a time in the 100 Fly of 1:02.18.
Coming in with times of a 200 Free of 1:55.75, in the 500 Free she accomplished a time of 5:01.66,10:23.11 in the 1000 Free, and in the 1650 Free, this young lady from Sweden finish with a  17:18.38 time. Malin Hedberg (Vasteras, Sweden) comes out of Wenstromska Gymnasiet. 
Hedberg is also joined on the team squad by a fellow swimmer from Sweden. Out of Atletica Gymnasiet, Angelica Norrena (Solna, Sweden) has her best time in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 Free events. In order, her times consist of 25.32, 53.26, 1:57.13, and 5:20.35 in each event respectively. 
From the Dollar Academy in Scotland, Catriona Laird (Fife, Scotland) will come in with experience in Free, Back, and Fly events. Her times consist of 100 Free time of 54.30, 200 Free of 1:57.40, 1:00.78 in the 100 Back, 200 Back time of 2:12.07,1:00.31 100 Fly time, and a 200 Fly time of 2:14.45.
The last named freshman will be the most local of the group, coming from Sachem North High School. Maxianne Russo (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) has her best times during the 50, 100, and 200 Free events. Those times are made up of 27.51, 57.76., and 2:07.11.
