In the first match against the Dolphins of LeMoyne, C.W. Post jumped out early to take over lead going on a 5-0 run early in the lead taking a 8-3 lead. The squad went on to win by 10 points, which was helped by 10 kills as a team and only faulting on three attacking errors.
The second set was more of a closer contest for the teams, until the Pioneers took advantage of Dolphin mistakes to go from down 15-16 to up 20-16.

C.W. Post then closed out the match in third set in a similar fashion that the team took the first set. Both teams competed closely, as the match was even all the way up to the 19-19 mark in the first set. The Chargers then went on a quick 6-2 run to take the set, led by three kills and two attacking errors by the Pioneers.
The second set was controlled fully by New Haven, as the team took the match by a wide margin of 14 points. The Chargers put down five service aces during the set and only saw the Pioneers able to manage four kills during the set.
