Women's Lacrosse Community Service Update

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (November 19, 2012) – The LIU Post women's lacrosse team has had a busy few weeks, volunteering in various capacities in their Long Island communities. 

Last weekend, eight women's lacrosse players volunteered at the Glen Cove Animal Shelter, helping to clean cages and walk dogs, while ten players helped at the North Shore Lacrosse Club Clinic, teaching youth players about the game.  This past Sunday, 12 players from the team the Ronald McDonald house, donating $60 in food, and cooking brunch for the families at the house.
