BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 20, 2012) – The LIU Post Baseball team contributed to the relief efforts in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy this past weekend.

The team transported two skids of MRE's to Staten Island as part of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation Hurricane Relief Fund.  Then, they went to Long Beach, where 13 players and coaches gutted two first floor houses that sustained water damage.

The baseball team will continue to volunteer in Long Beach this week.
