WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 12, 2012) – The Bentley Falcons took advantage of six errors by the Pioneer defense as the C.W. Post baseball team was handed a 6-1 loss on Monday evening.

The Pioneers now stand at 5-4 overall while Bentley is 4-9.

The Falcons pushed a run across in the first as an errant pickoff attempt put the runner on third and
an infield error allowed the run to score. 

A two-run triple in the third inning by Bryant Johnson gave the Falcons a 4-0 lead.

Bentley added runs in the fourth and the seventh, and the Pioneers were only able to push acrosse one run as Connor Coman doubled and scored on a groundout. 

Joey Arena took the loss, going four innings and allowing three runs on five hits.

Anthony Corona had two hits for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers are back in action tomorrow afternoon, playing Pace at 2 p.m. and Stonehill at 6 p.m.
