Mosca Named ECC Goalkeeper of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (April 18, 2011) – Junior goalkeeper Dominique Mosca (Merrick, N.Y.) earned East Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Week distinction after her excellent play between the pipes last week.
Mosca made 11 saves in the Pioneers' season opener. She had a save percentage of .688 as she faced 21 shots and allowed only five goals.
C.W. Post played its season opener against Saint Anselm and came away with a 16-5 victory. The Pioneers remain at home on Sunday, March 11 as they will host Southern New Hampshire.
