Sileo Earns ECC Player of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (April 24, 2012) - Sophomore attacker Jackie Sileo (Wantagh, N.Y.) earned East Coast Conference Weekly distinction following for her strong performance last week.
Sileo led the Pioneers to a 2-0 week with 15 points. She scored three goals and dished out 12 assists and also picked up five ground balls, controlled three draws and caused a turnover. Sileo registered a goal and five assists against Bridgeportand then led the Pioneers with nine points on two goals and seven assists in a win over Stonehill.
Next for the Pioneers will be another top ten matchup with ninth-ranked West Chester on Tuesday, April 24, at 4 p.m. on the campus of West Chester.
