Budkevics Earns Daktronics and NCBWA All-Region Notice
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (May 15, 2012) - The 2012 Daktronics Baseball Northeast All-Region teams and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers (NCBWA) teams were released and one Pioneer garnered a spot on both of the teams, as compiled by the region's Sports Information Directors.
Junior pitcher
Bo Budkevics (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named to the Second Team of both the NCBWA and the Daktronics All-East Region. Budkevics compiled a 7-4 record with a 1.91 ERA through 14 appearances and 10 starts. He totaled a team-high 85 innings, striking out 78 while batters hit just .196 against him.
The Pioneers finished the season with a 27-20 overall record and a 16-8 mark in the conference. C.W. Post finished third overall in regular season ECC standings,and advanced to the ECC championship tournament.
