Sileo Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Women's At-Large Third Team 6/25/2012 12:27:00 PM BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (June 25, 2012) – Sophomore Jackie Sileo (Wantagh, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post women's lacrosse team was voted to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America Women's At-Large Third Team. Sileo earned ECC Player of the Year and First Team accolades, in addition to IWLCA and Synapse Sports All-America Kudos. The IWLCA Attacker of the Year was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Championships, setting new records for points in a tournament (17) and points in a championship game (9), as well as the ECC Player of the Year during her sophomore season. The Wantagh, N.Y. native earned her second straight All-America citation as she totaled a Division II-best 141 points with 45 goals and 96 assists, both single-season records for LIU Post. Sileo and the Pioneers captured their third program NCAA title in a 17-16 win over West Chester Univeristy on May 19 at Owlsey B. Frazier Stadium at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky.
