Football Selected Third In PSAC East Preseason Poll
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (August 6, 2012) – LIU Post was voted to finish third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division preseason poll, which was released Monday afternoon during PSAC East Media Day, held at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
Reigning PSAC champion Kutztown received five first-place votes to top the eight-team poll. Bloomsburg was second with three votes while West Chester placed fourth followed by (5) Shippensburg, (6) East Stroudsburg, (7) Millersville and (8) Cheyney.
The Pioneers, who finished the 2011 season with a 6-1 conference record to claim a share of the division title with Kutztown, open their season at home on Sept. 8 with a non-conference tilt against Clarion.
