Women's Lacrosse To Receive National Championship Rings At Halftime Of Football's Contest vs. Clarion
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2012) – The 2012 NCAA Division II national champion LIU Post women's lacrosse team will be honored at halftime of the LIU Post-Clarion football game on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Starting at 10:30 a.m., the champions will receive their rings during a morning breakfast from head coach Meghan McNamara. Also in attendance will be provost Paul Forestell, athletic director Bryan Collins, and senior associate athletic director Shantey Hill.
Following the ring ceremony, McNamara will lead the team out to midfield on Hickox Field to greet fans during halftime of the football game, which is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m.
