Women's Basketball Receives Votes in WBCA/USA Today Sports Division II Top-25 Poll
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. (Oct. 30, 2013) - The LIU Post women's basketball team earned two votes in the 2013-14 Women's Basketball Coaches Association/USA TODAY Sports Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll, as released on Wednesday.
Northeast-10 Conference powerhouse Bentley topped the tally, while last year's national champion, Ashland, came in at No. 15. Fellow East Coast Conference member and national runner-up Dowling was 16th.
The Pioneers open up the 2013-14 season on Friday, Nov. 8 in Manchester, N.H. at Southern New Hampshire. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
