Dowling's DiFede tied it again at 11:12, but the Pioneers took the lead on two Olen goals in a twenty second span, and the Pioneers would remain in control for the rest of the contest.
The Pioneers led in most categories for the afternoon, winning the ground ball battle 18-15 and outshooting the Golden Lions 32-25, while holding a 17-14 advantage in draw controls.  They were successful on 11-of-13 clear attempts.
