Pioneers Remain Atop IWLCA Weekly Poll for Sixth Straight Week 4/2/2013 1:00:00 PM BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 2, 2013) – The Pioneers continue their dominance as they sit atop the IWLCA Division II Weekly Poll for the sixth-straight week. The reigning national champions from LIU Post (7-0, 1-0 ECC) hold this week's top spot, as the top six schools remain the same from last week. The Northeast-10 Conference continues to lead all conferences with five ranked schools, with the PSAC right behind with four in the top-15. Both the ECC and the Conference Carolinas claim two schools, while two independent schools fill out the rest of the rankings. Junior Jackie Sileo (Wantagh, N.Y.), senior Ashley Olen (East Islip, N.Y.) and senior Abbie Ross (Miller Place, N.Y.) continue to lead the Pioneers. Sileo (17 goals, 50 assists) set the NCAA Division II Careers Assists record in LIU Post's 16-13 win over rival Dowling (March 20). Next up for the Pioneers is a matchup with ECC rival Mercy College on April 3.
