Sileo And Mosca Garner ECC Weekly Honors

Jackie Sileo (Wantagh, N.Y.) and senior goalkeeper
Dominique Mosca (Merrick, N.Y.) of the No. 1 LIU Post women's lacrosse team earned East Coast Conference weekly honor recognition for their on-field performances this past week.
To earn Player of the Week, Sileo totaled 27 points (10 g, 17 a) to lead the Pioneers to a 3-0 week and remain undefeated on the season. She took 15 shots (13 on goal) and was 2-3 on free position attempts and also won six ground balls and caused five turnovers. Sileo totaled 11 points against West Chester (2 g, 9 a), seven points against Queens (2 g, 5 a) and nine points against Roberts Wesleyan (season high 6 g, 3 a).
Mosca, the Goalkeeper of the Week, played 152:41 minutes in goal and allowed 4.72 goals per game with 23 saves for a .657 save percentage, as she posted three victories to improve to 12-0 on the season. Against West Chester she made a season-high 13 saves, then followed with seven stops against Queens, and three against Roberts Wesleyan.
The Pioneers begin to wind down their regular season, traveling to Molloy on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. matchup followed by a home contest against Bentley on Sunday.
