Women's Lacrosse Ends Regular Season Atop IWLCA Poll
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (May 8, 2013) – The defending national champs have ended the regular season at the No. 1 team in Division II women's lacrosse as the Pioneers once again received all 15 of the first place votes for Week 11.
LIU Post ended the regular season with a 21-3 win over the University of Bridgeport this past Thursday, finishing the season a perfect 17-0, including 7-0 in East Coast Conference play. With the win, the Pioneers secured the East Coast Conference regular season championship.
They'll be getting ready for the North Regional of the Division II Women's Lacrosse Championship that starts with a game against Stonehill at Hickox Field on Saturday.
