BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (June 26, 2012) -  The LIU Post Pioneers, the preseason No. 1, closed the season with a national championship on top of an undefeated season and finished 2013 in the poll right where they started—at No. 1. The Northeast-10 continued to lead all conferences with five ranked schools, including three in the top-10. The PSAC has three schools in the final poll, while the ECC and the Conference Carolinas both claim two ranked institutions.

The Pioneers won the 2013 National Championship, the fourth in the history of the program, defeating Limestone, 10-7.

The NE-10 is led by No. 4 and NCAA semifinalist Adelphi, who just edged conference rival and fifth-ranked LeMoyne. Stonehill closes the season at No. 7 while New Haven (No. 13) finishes just ahead of No. 14 Bentley.

Lock Haven leads the PSAC at No. 6, while West Chester ends up in the top-10 at No. 9. IUP also finishes in the rankings, closing the season at No. 12.

The ECC is led by top-ranked and NCAA Champion LIU Post; Dowling finishes just outside the top-10 at No. 11.

Limestone from the Conference Carolinas, the NCAA runner-up, ends the season at No. 2 while Pfeiffer, unranked to start the season, finishes in the top-10 at No. 8.

Rollins, an independent in lacrosse and an NCAA semifinalist this year, ends the season at No. 3. Florida Southern, also an independent in lacrosse, finishes the season in the top-10, ending up at No. 10. Lindenwood from the WILA also ends up ranked in the final poll, finishing at No. 15.

This is the final weekly poll for the IWLCA for the 2013 season.
