Baseball Receives Votes in NCBWA Poll
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Mar. 24, 2014) - After sweeping a doubleheader from Stonehill on Sunday, the LIU Post baseball team earned six votes in Monday's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association East Region Poll.
The Pioneers enter the week at 6-5 with two quality wins against the Skyhawks, who enter the week ranked fifth. Earlier this season in Lantana, Fla., LIU Post split with Assumption, which is ranked 10th in the tally.
The green and gold are scheduled to play at Felician on Wednesday (Mar. 26), and open their 2014 East Coast Conference slate this weekend when they host Mercy on Friday (Mar. 28).
